Rotary limit switch FRS - the compact cam limit switch

The new rotary limit switch of the FRS series stands out particularly due to its small dimensions. As the smallest rotary limit switch in our various series, it can be used especially where space is a critical factor.

In general, the rotary limit switch is used for motion control of industrial machines and industrial plants.

The revolutions of the shaft are transmitted to a cam switch mechanism, which actuates mechanical switching contacts. All variants of the switching contacts are designed as auxiliary current switches.

Reduction ratios from 1:15 to 1:175 are available for the rotary limit switches of the FRS series. The switch can be equipped with a maximum of 4 switching contacts. Each cam can be set individually to the desired position, thus allowing flexible definition of end positions and reference points.

To reduce abrasion and rusting, the transmission and guide shafts of the gear wheels are made of stainless steel.

All materials in direct contact with the environment are resistant to gases, oils and extreme temperature changes. The circumferential rubber seal provides optimum protection against dust and water, so that protection degree IP 65 can be easily achieved. The optimized interior allows quick and easy cabling.
