Cross lever limit switch AlphaX with ATEX approval

The explosion-proof AlphaX cross lever limit switch is designed to control the movement of indoor cranes, overhead cranes, other hoists and complex industrial machinery used in potentially explosive atmospheres.

An explosive atmosphere is a mixture of air and gases, vapours, fumes or combustible powders, whereby combustion spreads rapidly after ignition at atmospheric pressure (explosion). The cross lever limit switch works as an auxiliary current switch via a contactor or the PLC with the control system of the system.

The housing offers space for 2 or 4 slow action switches. The contacts are supplied as 1NC (1 NO contact). All NC contacts are positive opening contacts for safety functions. The cover is fastened with captive screws.
