rotarX Hybrid slip rings for power, signal and optical fibre transmission

Hybrid slip rings with fiber optic transmission are also known as optical slip rings or “fiber optic rotary joint” (FORJ). This version uses fiber optics as a medium for data transmission and offers the possibility to quickly transmit data at high frequencies or large data volumes.

The hybrid slip rings with optical fiber are available with 1 to 8 optical fiber channels and FC, ST, SMA, SMA, SC or LC connectors. The fibers are available as singlemode or multimode fibers. In addition to the fiber optic transmission, the customer can select 2 to 72 rings for standard signal or power transmission from 5A to 10A per ring.
